EstroGel is a topical gel for women suffering from more postmenopausal severe symptoms due to hormone deficiency. It is an alcohol-based gel, specially formulated for topical use, prescribed as a supplement to replace falling estrogen hormone levels. EstroGel topical gel contains estradiol – the most potent form of the hormone estrogen.
The main ingredient in EstroGel is estradiol, which helps reduce the symptoms of menopause. It is absorbed directly through the skin at the applied site. Estradiol has a direct effect on the cervix, vagina, and vulva.
